Clarification by PIB: The viral notice claimed that the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) had announced 4660 vacancies for RPF constables and Sub-Inspectors. Recruitment Process: The RPF conducts the recruitment process for Sub-Inspectors and Constables annually in three phases: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and document verification. The exam duration is 90 minutes, with negative marking for incorrect answers.

Salary Details: Candidates selected as RPF Constables are entitled to a remuneration of Rs 21,700, while Sub-Inspectors (SI) receive a pay scale of Rs 35,400.
