Children of Bokaro Steel Plant workers will get scholarship for education

Employment News-Every month scholarship will be provided by the management to the children of permanent workers working in Bokaro Steel Plant. Such children of the workers will be given scholarship by the management. Those who have enrolled in various courses (technical and vocational degree or diploma, general degree course 2 courses or intermediate) in a recognized college or university or any technical institution from the academic year 2021-22. BSL management circular has been issued in this regard. Under the issued circular, Rs 250 per month will be given for various postgraduate, technical and professional degrees and Rs 150 per month for technical diploma, general degree and place two.

20 percent reserved for Scheduled Castes and Tribes: If the son or daughter of a worker has taken admission anywhere in various courses before the year 2021-22, then he will not be given its scholarship. In this regard, BSL's Head of Communications, Manikant Dhan has said that the total number of scholarships being awarded by the management will be around 18. These scholarships will be admissible to the students on the basis of merit and merit-cum-income of two categories. Under the category of merit, the sons and daughters of all the employees working in BSL will be eligible. Provided that only sons and daughters of non-executive employees working in BSL will be entitled under the category of merit-cum-income. For this scholarship, 20% is reserved for SC and ST students. To take advantage of this scholarship scheme, applicants can submit the complete details and all the documents received from the office of General Manager (Education) Bokaro Steel City and Kolkata as well as Delhi office by January 15.
