Central Board of Secondary Education started teacher leadership training course, know what is special in this

Employment News-The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced a new teacher leadership training course. Under this course, peer teachers will be taught about mental well-being, self-esteem, social sensitivity, better communication skills, better competence, goal setting and socially better life etc.


More than 2600 schools across the country have enrolled themselves in the initial session of this online program. This online training program being launched by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducted over 4 days in 8-hour sessions. Two school counsellors/health teachers/nodal teachers and four peer teachers will be provided training in 4 modules and 8 topics such as nutrition, hygiene, family bonding, emotionality, impact of the digital world and making effective career choices.

The topics of this online training program being launched by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will continue to grow. New suggestions will also be taken from peer teachers for this and they will be shared across the country. The page will also feature a dedicated platform for practical tips, advertisements, videos and life skills, mental health and online interactions. The page of the official website will also provide tips and education for life skills, guidance to 21st century scholars.

The curriculum will also include short films made by students from across the country, modules like psychosocial and good behavior to reduce risk of children, etc. Apart from this, peer teachers will also get a chance to showcase their skills at the Youth Film Festival.
