Essential Documentation for New Schools:

  1. Land Certificate:

    • Requirement: Must be issued within one year prior to the application date.
    • Issuing Authority: Authorized authorities such as District Magistrate (DM), Additional District Magistrate (ADM), Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Tehsildar, Naib-Tehsildar, Registrar, Sub-Registrar, or any equivalent authority.
    • Details: Should confirm the ownership and details of the land on which the school will be established.
  2. Building Safety Certificate:

    • Requirement: Must include comprehensive details about the school’s building blocks and floors.
    • Issuing Authority: Must be issued by an official no lower than the rank of Assistant Engineer from the Government Works Department.

CBSE Official Notification Highlights:

  • Land Certificate: According to Clause 1.3 (3), the Land Certificate must be issued within one year of the application date. It should be from authorized officials listed above.
