CBSE Result 2024: Expected Release Date and Past Trends:

Release Date Trends:

  • Last year, the results were announced on May 12, marking a trend of timely result declaration.
  • However, in the preceding year of 2022, the results were released on July 22, indicating a significant deviation from the usual schedule.

Performance Analysis - Class 12:

  • In 2023, approximately 16.9 lakh students appeared for the class 12 exams.
  • Out of these, 7.4 lakh were female students, 9.51 lakh were male candidates, and 5 students were registered under the 'others' category.
  • Notably, 1,12,838 students scored 90 per cent or more marks.
  • Additionally, 1,25,705 Class 12 students were placed in the compartment category, as reported by CBSE.

Performance Analysis - Class 10:

  • In 2023, out of 2,184,117 registered students, 2,165,805 appeared for the class 10 exams.
  • The overall pass percentage was recorded at 93.12 per cent, with 2,016,779 students passing the exam.
  • Furthermore, 6.22 per cent of students, totaling 134,774, were placed in compartments last year.

Passing Criteria:

  • To pass the theory examination of particular subjects in CBSE class 10 and 12 results 2024, a student must secure a minimum of 26 marks out of 80.
  • Additionally, securing 33 per cent in each subject is essential to pass the examination.
