CBSE half yearly exams begin

Employment News-The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) half-yearly examination of high school started on the lines of the board. On the first day 1331 candidates appeared in the examination at five examination centers set up in the district.

The half-yearly examinations of students of 21 schools operated in the CBSE board's district started from Tuesday. Among the centers set up in the district for the examination, 331 students appeared in Adarsh ​​Vidya Mandir AB Nagar, 287 in New Era School, 317 in Kendriya Vidyalaya, 291 in Zee School and 116 in Ramkali Budhilal Sahu. In the examination which lasted from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, students took the social subject examination. Principals of other schools of Kendriya Vidyalaya operating in the district were posted as supervisors to monitor the examination. He kept on monitoring the exam the whole time.

At the examination centers itself, the center administrators had to get the online question paper and OMR sheet sent from the CBSE board through printing, but problems had to be faced due to the server being down. Due to server down at Adarsh ​​Vidya Mandir exam center, the exam started 45 minutes after the scheduled time. Manager Venuranjan Bhadauria said that instead of late, the examination was completed by giving the same amount of time ahead to the candidates.

In view of the corona infection, the half-yearly examination is being conducted on the lines of the board. In the coming days, if the outbreak of corona increases and there is a hindrance in conducting the examination, then students will be promoted on the basis of the marks of this examination. Hours of delay in reaching question papers at some centers due to server issues irked the parents. The parents of the students going to and from the school by van called and asked to pick up the students from the examination center on their own. Even after hours of the scheduled time of the examination, the parents remained worried.
