The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently declared the results for class 12th students, but there is no confirmed date for the release of CBSE class 10th board results. As per the notification by CBSE, the board has decided to avoid unhealthy competition by not releasing a merit list. However, a merit certificate will be issued to 0.1% of students who have scored the highest marks in the subjects.

This year, the overall pass percentage for CBSE class 12th students is 87.33%, which is 5.38% lower than the previous year's pass percentage of 97.71%. In 2023, girls have outperformed boys with an overall pass percentage of 90.68%, while boys have scored 84.67%. However, the results were slightly better in 2022, where girls scored 94.54% and boys scored 91.25%. Trivandrum secured the highest pass percentage with 99.91%, followed by Bengaluru, Chennai, West Delhi, Chandigarh, and Delhi East.

A total of 16,96,770 students appeared for the class 12 exam. Initially, it was anticipated that CBSE would release the results for both class 10 and 12 board exams on the same day, but there is no official confirmation from the authorities.
