CBSE Board Results: Delhi Govt School Students Record Notable 8.36% Surge, Arvind Kejriwal Hails Achievement

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal extends his heartfelt congratulations to students, teachers, and parents for the remarkable performance of Delhi government schools in the CBSE Class 10 examinations. In a recent tweet, Kejriwal lauded the exceptional achievements of the students, highlighting a significant increase in the pass percentage.

Impressive Results:
According to the data shared by the Chief Minister, Delhi government schools have achieved a remarkable pass percentage of 94.2% in the 2023-24 academic year, showcasing an impressive surge from the previous year's 85.84%. This surpasses not only their own performance but also the CBSE national average for Class 10 results, which stands at 93.6%.

Regional Performance:
Kejriwal further emphasized the outstanding performance of Delhi government schools at the regional level, with a staggering pass percentage of 96.99%. This achievement not only exceeds their previous year's performance but also surpasses the CBSE national average.

Overall CBSE Performance:
In addition to Delhi's success story, the CBSE board exams witnessed an overall improvement in pass percentages for both Class 10 and Class 12. The pass percentage for Class 10 rose to 93.60%, while Class 12 saw a marginal increase to 87.98%. Notably, a significant number of students scored above 90% and 95% in Class 12, indicating a steady rise in academic excellence.
