BPSC to Release 2nd Phase Teacher Recruitment Supplementary Result Before Jan 20

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is set to unveil supplementary results for the second phase of the teacher appointment examination. The state's education department forwarded details of over 14,700 vacant positions to the commission, stemming from discrepancies in the initial phase's results where some candidates received multiple outcomes. This resulted in numerous unoccupied positions across primary to plus 2 levels. Consequently, there's been considerable demand from applicants for the release of supplementary results to fill these vacancies.

As per reports, the education department submitted a vacancy list to the BPSC, anticipating the release of the supplementary results by January 20. In late December 2023, BPSC initially released the results for the second phase, with over 92,000 candidates successfully clearing the examination.

To access the BPSC TRE 2 Supplementary Result, candidates can follow these steps:

1. Visit the Bihar Public Service Commission's official website at bpsc.bih.nic.in.
2. On the homepage, locate the 'Supplementary results: School Teacher Competitive Examination' link.
3. Choose the specific Teacher Recruitment Exam from the options provided.
4. Enter essential details like roll number, registration number, and date of birth.
5. Submit the information to view the results on the screen.
6. Download and retain a hard copy of the result for future reference.

The ongoing counselling sessions for successful candidates are occurring in various districts statewide. Following counselling, appointed teachers will receive official appointment letters.

Looking forward, the BPSC is gearing up for the third phase of teacher recruitment, scheduled to commence on August 24, 2024, as per the BPSC exam calendar. This phase is expected to include around 50,000 posts.
