Meerut A board of studies meeting will start soon on campus regarding the new education policy. There will be a meeting of more than 30 courses. Regarding this, the Vice Chancellor has also called a meeting of the Dean and the Heads of Departments on 28 April.
New education policy is to be implemented in UG courses from July. Till now UG has annual examinations, but after the new education policy is implemented, the semester system will be implemented in UG like PG. Now, you get a degree in graduation in three years, but in the new education policy, if someone leaves after studying for one year, he will get a certificate. Diploma on two years, degree on three years and if someone wants to do further research,
he can do a four-year degree course. Three years can be done from one college and one year from any other college. Per Vice Chancellor Prof. Y Vimala said that on behalf of the government, syllabus of 30 courses have been uploaded on the online website. In the entire state, 70 percent of the syllabus will be the same and 30 percent of the syllabus universities can be implemented from their level. He informed that instructions have been given in this regard to all deans and departmental heads. After the Vice Chancellor’s meeting on April 28, the syllabus will be stamped by starting a meeting of the Board of Studies of all courses, so that there is no delay in the session starting in July. In the new syllabus, the paper will be of the same hundred marks as before. It has been made mandatory to take several language courses. All subjects are placed in different categories. Apart from this, the employment related new courses will be started in the campus as per the new education policy, they will also be discussed in the meeting on April 28.
