Document Verification Condition

The BPSC has outlined a meticulous procedure for the publication of the results. Here are the essential conditions set by the commission:

  1. Document Verification: The results will be released under the condition that submitted educational qualification certificates during the online application will undergo verification. Candidates are mandated to obtain these documents from the website, which will feature a new watermark with automatic registration. The verification process will be conducted in person during counselling for appointment. Failure to complete the verification process will render both the exam result and eligibility void.

Cut-off Marks Criteria

The commission has stipulated cut-off marks for different categories:

  1. Cut-off Marks:
    • General Category: 40%
    • Backward Class Candidates: 36.5%
    • Extremely Backward Class Candidates: 36.5%
    • Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Candidates: 34%
    • SC/ST Women and Physically Handicapped Candidates: 32%

Candidates failing to meet the minimum qualifying marks will not be included in the merit list.

Tie-Breaker Rules

In case of equal scores, the commission has established tie-breaker criteria:

    • Merit List Formation: Based on overall written examination marks (excluding language marks).
    • Tie-Breaker-I: Marks in the main section of the selected subject.

  1. Changes in D.El.Ed Certificates: The 18-month Diploma in Primary Education (D.El.Ed.) obtained through open and distant education has been terminated.
