Bihar Niyojit Teacher News: Employment of more than 90 thousand primary teachers postponed again in Bihar, education department told this reason

There is bad news for thousands of teacher candidates sitting in Bihar’s primary schools, hoping for an appointment. The education department has postponed the planning process for more than 90 thousand primary teachers. For the past several days, the teacher candidates were waiting from the date of counseling to joining. Such candidates have suffered a big setback.

Till the decision of Patna High Court in a special case, the process of planning of more than 90 thousand primary-middle teachers has been stopped till the next order. The education department has confirmed the postponement of the planning process. The process which has been going on since July, 2019 has been stopped three times earlier due to legal hurdles. However, the Education Department is going to take special steps for special advocacy to end the ongoing stay in the context of planning.

Principal Secretary of Education Department Sanjay Kumar said that due to the stay of the court in a special case, the process of primary planning has been postponed till the next order. However, the Education Department is going to lobby at a higher level to remove the stay. We hope that we will get the green signal from the court. The department is making all efforts to complete the planning in a lawful manner.

According to official information, the Education Department has decided to postpone primary planning due to a special objection filed by the All India Blind Federation in the High Court in this matter. It is noteworthy that some time ago on a special objection regarding blind reservation, the High Court had banned the recruitment of more than 34500 secondary teachers.

After this, the planning process of 90700 primary teachers was taken under the purview of this ban. At present, the department is going to present its side in the court to start the primary planning process in this matter. It is noteworthy that while hearing the reservation objections of this blind federation, the High Court has stayed the planning.
