Ban on holidays of officers and employees in Education Department

Employment News-Due to the winter session of the Thirteenth Legislative Assembly, the leave of employees and officers has been banned in the Education Department from December 1 to 15. In view of the winter session to be held at Tapovan, Dharamsala from December 10 to 15, the Directorate of Higher and Elementary Education has issued instructions to ban the proposed holidays and tours.


Employees can also be called during other holidays including Sundays. The department has also asked to answer all the questions related to the education department in the Vidhan Sabha at the earliest. It has been said that at least one officer in every branch of the department should be in the office every day at 8.30 am during this period. The officers will have to be present in the office till eight o'clock in the night.

Additional Director Administration, Colleges, School Higher Education, Joint Director Colleges, Joint Director Finance & Accounts, Associate Director, All Deputy Directors of Higher Education, Principals of all Government Colleges, Commander NCC and Chief Librarian Central State Library, Solan, Preliminary during winter session All Deputy Directors of Education, Principal Diet and staff working under these officers will not get leave.
