Himachal Pradesh Board of Technical Education will increase the time for practical classes. This decision has been taken due to lack of practical studies in online classes. At present, different types of subjects are being taught in many ITI and Polytechnical institutes across the state. Institutes imparting technical education are also completely closed throughout the state during Kovid period.

In such a situation, students studying in these institutes are being taught through online medium. During this time, students are being provided book knowledge by the respective institutes, but it is not possible to master them with practical knowledge through online medium. Secretary of the Board of Technical Education, RK Sharma informed that additional practical practical classes will be organized for the students as soon as the institute opens.
