Arvind Kejriwal: Over 1,000 Delhi Government School Students Cleared NEET UG

In a recent announcement, it was revealed that over 1,000 students from Delhi government schools successfully qualified for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2023. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter to extend his congratulations to the accomplished students, while also celebrating the remarkable achievement of government schools in the capital city. Kejriwal's tweet expressed his astonishment at the progress made, stating that such an outcome would have been unimaginable just a few years ago. He commended the students, parents, and teachers involved in this accomplishment.
Among the high achievers from Delhi-NCR, Harshit Bansal secured an impressive All-India Rank (AIR) of 13 by scoring 715 marks in the NEET UG 2023 exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results of the NEET-UG 2023 on June 13. Out of the total 20.38 lakh students who registered for the entrance exam, 11.45 lakh students managed to qualify. This year, two candidates achieved the maximum score of 720 out of 720. Prabanjan J from Tamil Nadu and Bora Varun Chakravarthi from Andhra Pradesh secured the top positions in the NEET UG exam by scoring a percentile of 99.99.

Uttar Pradesh reported the highest number of qualified students with 1.39 lakh candidates, followed by Maharashtra with 1.31 lakh candidates, and Rajasthan with over 1 lakh qualified candidates. Students can check their scorecards on the official websites neet.nta.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in. The qualified students will now proceed to participate in the centralized counseling for NEET UG 2023, which will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The counseling process will allocate 15 percent of the seats in the All India Quota and 85 percent of the seats within the state quota of the respective authorities. It is important to note that there is no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of the NEET answer scripts.
