Employment News-In view of rising cases of Covid-19, the Punjab government on Tuesday decided to close educational institutions, impose night curfew and operate cinema halls with 50 percent capacity. The officers provided this information. According to an order issued by the Home and Law Department on Tuesday, the movement of people for all non-essential activities will be restricted from 10 pm to 5 am within the municipal limits of all cities and towns of Punjab. All these restrictions will continue in Punjab till January 15.

As per the orders of the government, all educational institutions, schools, colleges, universities and 'coaching centres' will remain closed. Bars, cinema halls, multiplexes, malls, restaurants, spas, museums and zoos will be operated with 50 percent capacity and full vaccination of all their employees is mandatory. Only employees who have been fully vaccinated will be allowed to go to government and private offices, workplaces, factories.

Punjab School Closed : Classes will run in online mode
Explain that the schools and colleges of Punjab have also been asked to conduct online classes with immediate effect. However, clear guidelines have not yet been issued for the operation of college hostels. In such a situation, it can be expected that soon a separate guideline will be issued for this. Let us inform that in the last few days, there has been a significant increase in the cases of infection in Punjab. So far 6,05,922 cases of Kovid-19 have been reported in the state and 16,651 people have died due to infection.
