The commencement of the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET 2024) has been initiated at the National Law University (NLU), facilitating admissions into the BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and PhD programs. Aspiring candidates can complete the application process for AILET 2024 by visiting the official website, nludelhi.ac.in. The submission of the AILET application form 2024 is a prerequisite and must be completed by the deadline of November 13.

The designated date for the AILET 2024 law entrance exam is December 10, scheduled from 11 AM to 1 PM. Admit cards will be made available on the university's official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in, starting from November 20.

AILET 2024 Application Fee: To initiate the registration process, candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 3,500. However, candidates falling under the PwD (persons with disabilities), SC, or ST categories are entitled to a reduced application fee of Rs. 1,500. Notably, individuals or families from the SC and ST categories below the poverty level are exempt from paying any application fee.

Eligibility Criteria for BA LLB (Honors) Program: For enrollment in the five-year BA LLB (Honors) program, students must have achieved a minimum score of 45% in their Class 12 board examination or an equivalent qualification. Nevertheless, applicants falling within the SC, ST, and PwD categories will benefit from a 5% reduction in the minimum qualifying test score requirement for AILET 2024.

Additional Eligibility Criteria: Foreign nationals and individuals holding OCI or PIO cards will be considered for admission based on merit, requiring a minimum score of 65 marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates who are preparing to undertake their Class 12 examination are also eligible to apply for the AILET 2024.

AILET 2024 Seat Matrix: Aspirants seeking entry into the one-year LLM program are expected to have accumulated a minimum of 50 credits in their law degree program or an equivalent qualification. Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD categories will benefit from a 5% reduction in the minimum qualifying exam score.

The university will conduct an entrance examination for 70 seats, while the remaining 10 seats (5 each for foreign nationals, OCI cardholders, and PIO cardholders) will be allocated based purely on merit.

PhD Program and Eligibility: The National Law University is offering 25 seats for the PhD program, including five seats through the UGC-JRF, sixteen based on AILET merit, and four seats through AILET merit fellowships. Two seats are reserved for foreign nationals. Candidates applying for the registration process must possess an LLM or an equivalent degree with a minimum score of 55% or higher. Those falling within the OBC non-creamy, SC, ST, EWS, and differently-abled categories will receive a relaxation of 5% in eligibility requirements.
