Today, July 10, marks the final opportunity to register for the AIIMS Mock National Exit Test (NExT) 2023. This registration window will close at 5 PM. Final-year MBBS students from medical colleges nationwide can register for the mock exam on the official website of AIIMS, next.aiimsexams.ac.in. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has entrusted AIIMS with the responsibility of conducting the NExT.

The mock test, scheduled for July 28, aims to familiarize students with the software interface, computer-based testing, and the rules and regulations of the testing centers. On July 13, candidates will be able to check the status of their registration, and a unique exam code will be generated exclusively for them until July 14. If applicable, candidates have until July 21 to submit a certificate for a scribe or compensatory time. The hall tickets for NExT 2023 will be issued on July 21 according to the provided schedule.

Here are the steps to register for the NExT Mock Test 2023:

Step 1: Visit the official website of AIIMS Delhi, next.aiimsexams.ac.in.

Step 2: Locate the 'Important Announcement' tab and select the 'Mock/Practice Test of National Exit Test (NExT)' link.

Step 3: A new window will open. Enter your login credentials, such as your Registration ID and Examination Unique Code (EUC).

Step 4: Complete the NExT Mock Test 2023 application form and pay the examination fee.

Step 5: Submit the NExT Mock Test 2023 application form as instructed to finalize the registration process.

In 2024, the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) PG will be replaced by NExT for admission to postgraduate programs. The NExT also serves as a common qualifying final-year MBBS exam, a licentiate assessment for practicing modern medicine, and an initial screening test for foreign medical graduates intending to practice in India. The Union Health Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya, has previously announced that the NExT will be applicable to medical graduates from the 2020 MBBS batch onwards, excluding the 2019 batch.
