The admission process for engineering colleges in Bihar has commenced, with the Bihar Combined Entrance Examination Board (BCECEB) facilitating enrollment until June 10. Bihar Engineering Colleges Admission 2024 Details:
Total Seats: 13,835 seats are available across 38 engineering colleges in Bihar. Each college, except MIT Muzaffarpur, offers 360 seats, while MIT Muzaffarpur has 355 seats, Gaya College of Engineering has 40 seats, and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Women's Institute of Technology, Darbhanga, has 120 seats.

Admission Process for Bihar Engineering Colleges:
Candidates' admissions to Bihar engineering colleges will be based on their scores in JEE Main. As per BCECEB's May 13 advertisement, candidates who appeared and obtained valid scores in JEE (Main)-2024 (Paper-1) are invited to apply online for Under Graduate Engineering Admission Counselling (UGEAC)-2024. JEE Main scores from January and April sessions will be accepted.
Reservation and Seat Allocation:
In the upcoming academic session 2024-25, 33% reservation will be provided to girls. Additionally, 33% of seats in all 38 government engineering colleges are reserved for girls. Furthermore, 50 seats are reserved in each category.
