A Stranger is helping a blind IAS aspirant to buy a Braille Printer

A new example of humanity is set by a strange man to support a 30 year old blind man who is preparing for IAS examination. Last year, a news came about a visually-challenged young mathematician named Siddu Laute, who is strong in memorizes arithmetic tables up to 99 crores and can recall more than 45,000 telephone numbers.

This young man belongs to a village in Belgaum district in Karnataka and is aspiring to become an IAS Officer. This news of Siddu Laute took the headlines on news channels and newspapers last year. A stranger from Hyderabad, Jaya Naga Mohan Manda, read this news and got so much inspired by him that he decided to help Siddu for clearing his IAS examination.

Manda started researching on Laute. In his research Manda found that to become an IAS Officer, an blind man requires a braille printer to prepare for the examinations, which costs around 2 lakhs and is only available in the U.S. Siddu belongs to a family with limited means. Manda released this fact and thought to help Siddu by bringing a braille printer for him.

Afterwards, Manda started collecting funds from his family and friends and collected around Rs. 60,000 for the printed, which he handed over to Siddu, last year. Manda also started a fundraiser campaign in social media to raise money for a braille printer for Siddu. From which he collected Rs. 6,000 more towards the final amount of Rs. 1,50,000 which is needed by Siddu’s family to but a braille printer.

When asked Manda about this funding campaign he said, that he felt very impressed with the strong determination of Siddu to become an IAS officer. So he decided to help him because Manda has strong faith on Laute that he will achieve this goal whenever he gets the chance.
