Employment News-In Banaras Hindu University (BHU), which is called the capital of Sarva Vidya, special facilities are given to the differently-abled students from admission to hostel allotment. Where special quota has been made for admission in the university for the differently-abled students, on the other hand they are given in the university. In order to ensure that there is no problem in living and studying, they are allotted rooms in any hostel of the university on the basis of preference. Along with this, the facility of food in the hostel for visually impaired students is provided free of cost in the university. Also, students with disabilities who cannot hear or are disabled from any part of the body, get food at half the cost in the hostel.

5 thousand rupees scholarship
In addition to the scholarship received by the government, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October, scholarship up to Rs. 5000 is given to all the differently-abled students in the university. A lump sum amount of five thousand rupees is given in the scholarship, while the physically handicapped students get 4 thousand and the students who cannot hear with their ears get 3 thousand rupees. So that they can buy the necessary equipment or other items for themselves.
