School books are rotting in the drain, education department accused of negligence

Employment News- In Pati development block of Champawat district, gross negligence of the education department has been seen. Books of English, Science, Maths subjects from class 6 to class 8 have been found in a Gadhre (hill drain) of Kamlekh, a remote Gram Sabha of the block. These books are from the 2022-23 season which have been thrown in the drain, four bundles of books have been found. When the local people made a video of it and made it viral on social media.

There is a lot of anger among the villagers
There is a lot of resentment among the villagers of the area on the negligence of the education department. It is to be known that on the one hand, Uttarakhand's DG Education has ordered to stop the salary of more than 600 teachers on complaints of non-availability of books to children in remote areas of Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Chamoli, Tehri and Champawat districts. On the other hand such negligence is happening in Champawat district. After the video of negligence went viral on social media, the top officials of the district lost their sleep.

The guilty will not be spared
District Education Officer Basic Chandan Singh Bisht is going to inquire into the above case and take strict action against the culprits. District Education Officer Basic Chandan Singh Bisht said that he has constituted a committee for investigation. Orders have been given to present the report of the investigation within 1 week. He said that this is a serious matter, the guilty will not be spared.
