The National Testing Agency (NTA) has finally ended the wait for candidates who took the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2022 by releasing the answer key today, August 30, 2022.

The result for NEET UG 2022 will also be released on September 7th, 2022, according to the official website. Meanwhile, once the answer key is available, candidates will be able to raise any objections they may have.

The announcement was also made on the company's official website. "Candidates will also be allowed to submit representation against the OMR grading by paying a non-refundable processing fee of 200 per question challenged," according to the official notice. The detailed information, as well as the procedure for challenging the answer key, will be communicated separately. The Agency will also release response sheets along with the answer key.

Steps to Raise Objections in NEET UG 2022

Step 1: Navigate to the NTA NEET official website at neet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Fill out all of the required information and log in.
Step 3: Submit an online challenge to the provisional answer key by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per challenged answer within a specified time frame.

How to Download the NEET UG 2022 Answer Key

Step 1: Navigate to the official site, neet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, students must now click on the 'NEET Answer Key' link.
Step 3: Now you must enter all of the required information and login.
Step 4: On the screen, the NEET UG 2022 answer key will appear. You can also get it by downloading it.

Marking Scheme for NEET UG 2022

Students will receive one mark for each correct answer and one mark for each incorrect answer. Furthermore, if students leave any questions unanswered, no marks will be awarded or deducted for this.

Notably, the NTA NEET UG 2022 exam was held on July 17, 2022, in 3,570 centres spread across 497 cities in India and 15 cities outside the country.
