Haryana Education Directorate decision, students from class 6th to 12th will get scholarship

Employment News-There is good news for the students of class 6th to 12th studying in government schools. Scholarship will be provided to the students who will come first in their class under the Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship Scheme. In this, a scholarship of Rs 1000 will be given to the students of classes VI to VIII and Rs 1200 for the students of classes IX to XII.

To give the benefit of the scheme, a letter has been issued by the Directorate of Education to the District Education Officer and District Elementary Education Officer. Through this, it has been said that under the Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship Scheme, under the academic session 2021-22, on the basis of annual examination, one student and one student, who comes first in class VI to class 12, is to be distributed scholarship. The department has directed the District Education Officer and District Elementary Education Officer to upload the data of eligible students under the said scheme in their subordinate schools on the MIS portal, so that the benefit of the scheme can be given. The link of the scheme has already been made available by the departmental IT cell for uploading the data on MIS portal.

Two each in co-education schools and one student in the rest will be eligible

Please note that this is an incentive scheme. Under this, Rs 1000 will be given to the meritorious students of each class from class 6 to 8 and Rs 1200 from class 9 to 12 will be given as scholarship. In case of co-education i.e. boys and girls study in a school, then scholarship will be given to one meritorious boy and one girl in each class. Wherein one meritorious girl in each class in girls' school and one meritorious boy in boys' school will get this scholarship.
