Fear of Corona and havoc of heat in Bihar, Education Minister said – Summer vacation may happen in schools before time

Employment News- In Bihar, on the one hand, there is a fear of fourth wave of corona and on the other hand the havoc of heat wave, from the common people to the government are troubled by it. The Meteorological Department also issued a high alert in 19 districts of Bihar. The disaster department has asked the district administration to make all necessary arrangements. The school timings are continuously being reduced by the district administration. Many district magistrates including Patna DM have ordered to change the school timings. In many districts of Bihar, schools will now open till 11.45 am.

Will close the school if needed
Meanwhile, Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary has given a big statement. He has said that if needed, the school will also be closed. In such a situation, it is believed that there may be summer vacation in schools in Bihar ahead of time. Although the Education Minister said that the government has not taken any immediate decision regarding the summer vacation, but in view of the intensity of summer, the education department and the government are also keeping an eye on it.

After consultation, the right decision will be taken at the right time.
The Education Minister said that the government does not intend that the school should be closed, but we cannot compromise on the health and future of the children. School children are facing problems due to heat wave across Bihar. In such a situation, the government will take further decision according to what is necessary. The Education Minister said that the scorching heat in Bihar and the rise in temperature are being assessed. Appropriate decision will be taken at the right time in consultation with the Disaster Management Department and other concerned departments.

no relief at the moment
The most serious thing is that the Meteorological Department has made it clear that no relief is expected at the moment. In the coming days, the process of heat will continue in Bihar. In view of this, many district magistrates including Patna DM have ordered to change the school timings. This order has been given under section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. This order has been given in view of the possibility of adverse effects on the health and life of children due to high temperature in the district and scorching heat especially in the afternoon.

The order will come into effect from April 27, 2022
These restrictions imposed by the DM will be applicable to all the schools in the district including pre-schools and Anganwadi centres. This order will come into effect from April 27, 2022. The DM has ordered to reschedule the academic activities in the schools accordingly.
