Elementary education department asked for documents for scholarship

Employment News-For the scholarship of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, the Department of Elementary Education has sought documents of eligible students from class I to VIII. All eligible students of schools will have to submit caste certificate, Aadhar card, bank pass book, income certificate, photo, current mobile number in their respective schools by July 31.

This scholarship is provided by the central government to backward, reserved category SC, ST and students according to the class, Rs 3,000 per year. At present most of the students are not able to apply for the scholarship due to school holidays.

Due to this, the Department of Elementary Education has directed the heads of primary and secondary schools to prepare the list of students and submit the documents by July 31. Block Education Officer Madan Lal says that instructions have been issued to schools to submit documents of eligible students for scholarship.
