Employment News- There is a great passion for sports among the people of India. Now imagine how it would be if you get a government job by studying sports. Yes, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Friday that Delhi Sports University will start conferring degrees to players. So that if they want to work, then it can help them in the job. Kejriwal said that the Delhi government has put an end to the three difficulties faced by the players i.e. lack of facilities, lack of financial assistance and political interference in the selection processes.

“At Delhi Sports University, players will be awarded degrees in their respective sports like BA in Kabaddi, BA in Wrestling and BA in Cricket etc. This will help them work."

Financial assistance of 9.5 crores to players
Kejriwal said that financial assistance is being given to the players under 'Mission Excellence'. We have improved the sports facilities and there is no political interference in the selection of players for the schemes. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 9.5 crore was given to 60 players on Friday.
