Children from poor families should get better education till class 8. For this, their admission is given in private schools under the Right to Education Act. Recently, the third phase list of admissions under RTE has been released. Schools were allotted to 96 students under the lottery system.

There is a provision to give free admission in class one and pre-primary under RTE in private schools. From the year 2017-18, this scheme is operated under the Basic Education Department in the district. Eleven months fee reimbursement is given by the government to the schools getting admission. At the same time, an amount of five thousand rupees is sent to the accounts of the parents of the children to buy books and uniforms. In this session, admission of 1094 students was ensured in the first phase and 234 in the second phase. BSA gave strict instructions to the school operators that the selected students should be given free admission. The third phase process was adopted in the first week of July. Online applications were invited from the students. After the receipt of the application, the admission process was completed through the lottery system. 96 eligible students were selected in different schools.
