4,000 Jharkhand Schools To Be Turned Into 'Schools Of Excellence': CM
Chief Minister Hemant Soren has announced plans to upgrade over 4,000 state-run schools in Jharkhand to "schools of excellence" in order to ensure quality education for students. Speaking at a conference of School of Excellence Management Committees, Soren emphasized the need to connect Jharkhand's students with the necessary resources to succeed.
The government has committed to providing quality education to students in government schools, with a focus on both academics and sports. Currently, 80 schools are already providing education on the pattern of CBSE, and the plan is to expand this model to 4,000 more schools in the coming days.
In addition, a competition will be held among selected schools of excellence, with the staff and students of the winning school being taken on a tour of other states in the country.
