24 Students of MCD School in Naraina Ill Following Suspected Gas Leak

A gas leak incident near a municipal school in Delhi's Naraina area led to the illness of twenty-four students on Friday, as reported by officials. Among them, nineteen students were quickly taken to RML Hospital, while the remaining nine were transported to Acharya Shree Bhikshu Hospital, a prominent facility under the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. According to a senior official from the corporation, the students became unwell due to an apparent gas leak occurrence in close proximity to the school. Reassuringly, all students are in stable condition and are receiving medical care from doctors at both hospitals.

Responding swiftly, representatives from the civic health department promptly visited both hospitals and the school premises. Additionally, the education department of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi is actively involved in addressing the situation. The official further stated that an investigation will be conducted at their level to determine the cause of this incident.
