Educational Requirements for SSB Head Constable (Non-GD) 2026

























Position Eligibility Criteria
Head Constable (Steward)



  • Candidates must have completed the 12th grade from a recognized board.


  • A diploma in Catering and Kitchen Management of at least two years from a recognized institution is required.


  • Minimum one year of experience as a Steward in a recognized hospital or institution is necessary.
Head Constable (Communication)



  • Candidates must have completed the 12th grade in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.


  • A three-year diploma in Electronics, Communications, Computer Science, or Information Technology is required.
Head Constable (Electrician)



  • Candidates must have completed the 12th grade from a recognized board.


  • Two years of work experience in the relevant trade is required.


  • Alternatively, a one-year certificate course from a recognized institute with at least one year of experience is acceptable.


  • A two-year diploma from a recognized institute in the relevant trade is also acceptable.
Head Constable (Veterinary)



  • Candidates must have completed the 12th grade in Science with Biology as a main subject.
