14-year-old schoolgirl abducted, raped by 3 youths in Gurugram

The police have reported that a girl in 8th grade was allegedly gang-raped by three young men who abducted her from her school during a sports event in a village in the Sohna area. The men also created an inappropriate video of the incident and shared it on social media. The accused are currently being sought by police through raids, and the girl has undergone a medical examination, according to Upasana, the DCP for South.

The girl's father filed a complaint stating that on December 18 of the previous year, his daughter was taken from school by Mayank, Gaurav, and Harish, who are all accused of abducting and raping her in turns. The men threatened to kill her if she spoke to anyone about the incident. The girl remained silent until her father saw the video and she finally confided in him.

Following the complaint, an FIR was filed against the accused under IPC sections 363 (abduction) and 376-D A (gang rape of a woman under sixteen years of age) and section 13/6 of POCSO Act at Sohna Sadar Police Station on Saturday. Police have identified two of the accused as students in Class 11 and Class 12 at another school, while the third is a dropout.

The DCP has assured that the accused will be apprehended soon, and an FIR was promptly filed after the complaint was made.
