Meerut and Muzaffarnagar Also Affected:
In addition to Ghaziabad, school closures have been ordered in other significant districts of Western Uttar Pradesh:
Meerut: All schools and colleges will be closed from August 3 to August 12 (10 days) due to the influx of Kanwariyas.
Muzaffarnagar: Educational institutions will remain closed from August 3 to August 10 (8 days) to facilitate the safe management of the Kanwar Yatra.
