The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has announced that the answer key challenge facility for the Presidency University Bachelor Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET) 2024 ends today, July 22. Candidates wishing to challenge any answer in the model answer key must do so by midnight.
Steps to Challenge PUBDET 2024 Answer Key:
- Visit the Official Website:
- Go to wbjeeb.nic.in.
- Access the Answer Key Challenge Link:
- Click on the answer key challenge link on the homepage.
- View the Answer Key:
- The answer key will appear on the screen in PDF format.
- Select the Question to Challenge:
- Choose the answer you want to raise an objection to.
- Submit Supporting Documents and Pay the Fee:
- Upload substantial documents supporting your challenge.
- Pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 500 per question via net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
- Submit and Save:
- Submit the challenge and download/save the confirmation page for future reference.
Post Challenge Process:
- After the challenge period ends, WBJEEB will review all objections.
- The final answer key will be released, which will be used for result calculation.
PUBDET 2024 Marking Scheme:
- Correct Response: +2 marks
- Incorrect Response: -0.5 marks
- Unmarked Response: 0 marks
Result and Counselling:
- The PUBDET 2024 result date will be announced on the official website soon.
- Scorecards will be distributed along with the results.
- The counselling process for seat allocation, based on merit, will begin after the results are released.
About PUBDET:
- Purpose: Admission into undergraduate B.A and B.Sc (Honours) courses at Presidency University.
- Eligibility: Candidates who have passed or appeared in their Class 12 examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Examination or any equivalent examination.
- Examination Details:
- Admit cards were available from June 25.
- Exams were pre-poned from July 27 and 28 to July 6 and 7.
- The examination was held offline and OMR-based.
- Subject-specific tests relevant to the applied course, each of two hours duration.
