The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has released a notification for the UGC-NET exam aimed at Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) & Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor positions. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can refer to the details below and apply online.
Application Fee
- For General Candidates: Rs. 1100/-
- For General-EWS/ OBC-Non Creamy Layer Candidates: Rs. 550/-
- For SC/ST/ Third Gender Candidates: Rs. 275/-
- For PWD Candidates: Nil
- Payment Mode: Debit/Credit Card/UPI or Internet Banking through SBI / ICICI payment gateways

- Start Date to Apply Online & Payment Fee: 01-11-2023
- Last Date to Apply Online: 04-12-2023 (up to 05:00 PM)
- Last Date for Payment of Fee: 04-12-2023 (up to 11:50 PM)
- Correction in Application Form (online): 06-12-2023 to 08-12-2023
- Exam Date: 26 to 28-12-2023
Upper Age Limit (as on 01-07-2023)
- For JRF: Maximum 28 years
- For LS/Assistant Professorship: No upper age limit
- Age relaxation applicable as per rules
Qualification
- Candidates should hold M.Sc. or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 years/ BE/ B. Tech/B. Pharma/ MBBS with at least 55% marks for General (UR)/ General-EWS and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.
