Important Announcement for Class 10 Students



A significant update has emerged for over 9.71 lakh students preparing for the Madhyamik, or Class 10 Board exams, under the West Bengal Board. The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education will unveil the Madhyamik Result 2026 on May 8. Students can access their results online through the Board's official website, wbbse.wb.gov.in. After the results are published, students will have the opportunity to view their scores and download a digital version of their marksheet via the website, DigiLocker, or a mobile application.


Required Information to Access Results

To view the West Bengal Board Class 10 Result 2026, students must provide their Roll Number and Date of Birth. Those who cannot remember their Roll Number should ensure they have their Admit Cards available.


Steps to Check Your Results

1. Visit the official website: wbbse.wb.gov.in.


2. Click on the 'Result' link on the homepage.


3. Enter your Roll Number and Password.


4. Your result will be displayed on the screen; you can check your scores and download your marksheet.


Toppers' List Announcement

In conjunction with the results, a list of the top-performing students will be revealed during a press conference. The State Government may also honor these toppers. Last year, the pass percentage for Class 10 students was 86.56%.


Collecting Original Marksheets and Certificates

Students should note that while they can download a digital copy of their marksheet on the results day, they must reach out to their respective schools to collect their original marksheets and certificates. Schools will distribute these documents after receiving them from the designated distribution centers set by the WBBSE.
