The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) results for 2023 have been announced on the official website wbjeeb.nic.in. Md Sahil Akhtar, a student from DPS Ruby Park in Kolkata, has secured the first rank in the engineering entrance exam in the state. Soham Das and Sara Mukherjee have secured the second and third ranks, respectively. This year, approximately 98,000 students appeared for the exam. To check and download their WBJEE result 2023, candidates need to use their application number and password. The result will provide subject-wise scores, total scores, ranks obtained, and other relevant information.

The WBJEE is conducted annually for admission into engineering, technology, architecture, and pharmacy degree courses offered by universities and colleges in West Bengal. To check the WBJEE Result 2023, follow these steps:

Step 2: Click on the results link available on the website.
Step 3: Log in using your application number and password.
Step 4: Upon successful login, the WBJEE 2023 result will be displayed on the screen.

Candidates who qualify as per the WBJEE Result 2023 will be eligible to participate in the counseling and seat allotment process. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has released the final answer keys for the exam. The final answer key was prepared after considering the objections raised by candidates against the provisional keys. The provisional WBJEE answer key was released on May 10, and the objection window was open until May 13. The WBJEE exam was conducted on April 30 in two shifts, and the question paper carried a total of 200 marks.

In 2022, the pass percentage for WBJEE was 98.5%. Students from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) dominated the top ten merit list, with the first two ranks secured by CBSE students. Himanshu Sekhar from Kolkata topped the exam last year.
