The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results for the UGC NET December 2025 examination. The December 2025 examination was conducted over six days in a computer-based format across 85 subjects. It took place from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026, at 663 examination centers in 283 cities nationwide.

Cut-Off Marks for JRF and Assistant Professor
Cut-off marks for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions:
The highest cut-off for the JRF category was 248 marks for the unreserved category. Following this, the cut-off for Buddhist and Jain Studies was 244 marks, and for French, it was 240 marks. A total of 5,141 candidates qualified for JRF, while 59,821 candidates qualified for Assistant Professor positions, and 117,058 candidates were eligible for PhD admissions.
The NTA ensured a transparent and fair evaluation process. Candidates' question papers, final answer keys, and their responses were made available on the NTA website from January 14 to January 17, 2026.
