TN 12th Result 2023 (Out) Live: TNDGE HSC +2 results announced, 94.03% pass; check on tnresults.nic.in

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) has finally released the long-awaited results of the Tamil Nadu Board Higher Secondary Examinations (HSE) 2023.
 

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) has finally released the long-awaited results of the Tamil Nadu Board Higher Secondary Examinations (HSE) 2023. More than 8 lakh students took the TN HSC board exams from March 13 to April 3, and students who took the class 12 board exams can now access their results on various websites, including dge.tn.gov.in, tnresults.nic.in, dge1.tn.nic.in, apply1.tndge.org, and dge2.tn.nic.in. Additionally, the National Informatics Centres (NIC) will provide free access to the HSC results.

According to the latest updates, a total of 8,03,385 students appeared for the class 12 board exams this year, and the overall pass percentage was 94.03 per cent, which is higher than last year's pass percentage of 93.76 per cent. Girls performed better than boys, with a pass percentage of 96.38 per cent compared to 91.45 per cent for boys.

The district of Puducherry had the lowest pass rate of 93.45 per cent, while Kanyakumari recorded the highest pass percentage at 97.05 per cent. In terms of streams, students in the Science stream had the highest pass rate of 96.32 per cent, followed by Commerce at 91.63 per cent, Arts at 81.89 per cent, and Vocational at 82.11 per cent.

For those who are not satisfied with their results or have concerns about their marks, they may request a re-evaluation of their answer sheets. The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations will supervise the re-evaluation process, and students can access the application form for re-evaluation on the board's official website. Candidates who wish to apply for the re-evaluation procedure must complete the online application and submit it to the TN Board along with the necessary fee.
