Educational Requirements for RBI Officer Grade-B 2026

Position	Qualifications
Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – (General)	Graduation: Candidates must possess a degree in any discipline or an equivalent qualification with at least 60% marks for General and 50% for SC/ST/PwBD from a recognized university. Minimum duration of 3 years from a recognized institution. Post-Graduation: Candidates should have completed their Post-Graduation or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized university. Minimum duration of 2 years from a recognized institution.
Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR	Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Economics or related fields with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD) from a recognized university.
Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM	Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Economics or related fields with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD) from a recognized university.
