Rajasthan Board Announces Exam Schedule



The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has officially released the exam dates for the 2026 Class 10 and 12 examinations, providing much-needed clarity for students. This year, an unprecedented number of over 900,000 candidates are set to participate, with exams commencing on February 12.

The board has confirmed that 95,872 students will be taking the Class 12 exams, highlighting the extensive preparation underway. Students can access the datesheet via the official RBSE website, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. The board has urged students to disregard any misinformation and rely solely on official announcements.


Revised Exam Pattern for Class 12

This year, the Rajasthan Board has introduced modifications to the Class 12 exam format, notably increasing the emphasis on long-answer questions. Most subjects will feature 80-mark question papers, including Public Administration, Economics, History, Mathematics, Hindi Literature, English Literature, Political Science, Sanskrit Literature, Philosophy, and various language subjects.

Class 10 Exam Schedule

The Class 10 examinations will also kick off on February 12, 2026, starting with the English paper. Following this, various vocational subjects will be assessed on February 14, covering areas such as automotive, beauty and wellness, healthcare, IT, retail, tourism, personal security, and more.


The Social Science exam is scheduled for February 17, with the Hindi paper on February 19. The Science exam, a critical subject for many students, will take place on February 21. Language exams, including the first paper of Sanskrit, will be held on February 24, followed by third language subjects on February 26. The Class 10 exams will conclude with the second paper of Sanskrit on February 28.
