Upcoming Results for Class 5 and Class 8: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education is anticipated to release the results for Class 5 and Class 8 examinations shortly, likely by March 24. A recent meeting involving board officials has been reported, although official confirmation is still pending. Students can access their results on the official websites: rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in and rajshaladarpan.nic.in.


To view their results, students must input their roll numbers in the designated result login area. The examinations for Class 5 and Class 8 were held from February 20 to March 5, 2026, with around 26 lakh students registered to participate. Additionally, results for Class 10 and Class 12 are also expected to be announced soon.

How to Access Your Results:


1. Visit the official websites—rajshaladarpan.nic.in or rajpsp.nic.in.


2. Choose either ‘RBSE Class 8th Result 2026’ or ‘RBSE Class 5th Results 2026’.


3. Enter your seat number in the provided field.


4. Click on ‘Submit’ or ‘View Result’. Your marks will be displayed on the screen, and you can download the result or take a screenshot for your records.


Details on Marksheets and Promotion Policy

Marksheets Availability:


The official marksheets for Class 5 and Class 8 will not be immediately available post-results. Students will need to wait a few days for these to be sent to their respective schools, where they can collect them from their teachers or principals.


Changes in Promotion Policy:


This year, the Rajasthan Board has ended the automatic promotion policy for Class 5 and Class 8. Consequently, students who do not pass will need to repeat their current class. A minimum of 33 percent in all subjects is required to pass. For those who fail, a re-examination will be organized within 45 days, allowing them to salvage their academic year.
