Announcement: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the provisional answer key for the UGC NET December 2025 examination as of January 14, 2026. Candidates who participated in the exam can access their question papers and recorded responses on the official website to estimate their potential scores. Additionally, candidates have the opportunity to contest the answer key within a specified timeframe.
The UGC NET December 2025 examination took place from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026, utilizing a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format across 85 subjects.
Objection Process:
For those who disagree with the provisional answer key, candidates can submit objections by paying a fee of Rs. 200 for each question. The objection window will be open from January 14, 2026, until January 17, 2026, at 11:50 PM. Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. It is important to note that no objections will be accepted without the payment of the fee, and submissions through other channels will not be considered.
All objections will be evaluated by a panel of subject matter experts. If any objection is validated, the answer key will be amended accordingly, and this revision will be applicable to all candidates. The final results will be compiled and announced based on the updated answer key.

1. Visit the official UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the link for downloading the answer key on the homepage.
3. Enter your application number along with your date of birth or password.
4. Input the captcha code shown on the screen and click submit.
5. Your provisional answer key and recorded responses will be displayed.
6. Download the PDF of the answer key and print it for your records.
