The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has announced the results of the National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) exam for the session 2023-24. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access and download their results from the official website, scertharyana.gov.in/ntse-nmms. The scholarship examination was conducted on November 19, 2023, across various districts. It is open to students studying in Class 8 in recognized schools.

To be eligible for the Haryana NMMS, candidates must belong to households with an annual income of less than Rs 3.5 lakh. Besides the scholarship, selected students will also receive waivers for school fees, hostel fees, and educational fees at their chosen institution. Additionally, they will be entitled to a Rs 2,000 allowance for stationery and books. The Haryana NMMS admit card 2024 was released on November 9, while the answer key was published on November 22.

Steps to Check NMMS Haryana Results:

  1. Visit the official website at scertharyana.gov.in/ntse-nmms.
  2. Look for the NMMS tab on the homepage.
  3. Click on the result link for the session 2023-24.
  4. The result PDF will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Download and print the result for future reference.

Candidates must obtain the minimum cut-off marks to qualify for the scholarship. The cut-off marks vary across different states. Reserved category students are required to score a minimum of 32 per cent in both MAT and SAT papers, while unserved category candidates need to secure at least 40 per cent to qualify.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students should have scored 55 per cent or equivalent in Class 7. For the renewal of the scholarship, students must have passed the annual exam with at least 55 per cent marks. Moreover, they must score a minimum of 60 per cent in Class 10 to continue availing the NMMS scholarship in Classes 11 and 12.
