This follows allegations of irregularities in the previous exam held on May 3, which prompted the re-examination. Fee Refund Process Initiated: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the refund process for candidates eligible for the NEET UG re-examination. A dedicated link for this purpose is now available on the official NTA website. Candidates must act quickly, as the deadline to submit bank details is set for 11:50 PM on May 27, 2026. After this time, the portal will be inaccessible, and no further chances will be offered.


Required Documents for Refund:
To avoid any issues with your refund due to incorrect bank information, the NTA has stated that no modifications will be allowed after submission.


Documents Needed:



  • Name of the Bank Account Holder (as per bank records)

  • Account Number

  • IFSC Code

  • Name of the Bank

  • Note: For verification, you may also upload a photo of a cancelled cheque.


Steps to Apply for the Refund:
1. Visit the official NEET UG 2026 registration portal.
2. Log in using your credentials (ID and Password).
3. Click on the 'Refund Link' on the homepage.
4. Enter your accurate bank details and submit.


NEET UG Re-Exam Scheduled:
It is important to note that due to allegations of paper leaks and irregularities during the NEET exam conducted on May 3 across 565 locations in India and internationally, a re-examination is now planned for June 21, 2026. Over 2.2 million students participated in the initial examination.
