Key Update on NEET UG 2026 Refund Process

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a crucial update regarding the fee refund process for NEET UG 2026. As of now, only 8,29,510 candidates have successfully updated or confirmed their bank account information on the official website.

The NTA has warned that candidates who do not complete this process by the specified deadline risk losing their refunds.

Candidates must update or confirm their bank account details by July 7, 2026, at 11:50 p.m.

Refunds have already commenced for those who have verified their banking information. If you need to make changes, you can do so until the deadline on the NTA portal.

Candidates who have yet to submit or verify their banking details are urged to log into the official NEET portal and finalize the process as soon as possible.

The refund process is already underway for candidates who have confirmed their bank account details.

Those who complete their updates before the deadline will be included in the next round of refund distributions.

To proceed, candidates should visit the NEET UG official website at neet.nta.nic.in and click on the link labeled 'Final Opportunity to Confirm/Update Bank Account Details for NEET (UG) 2026 Fee Refund (Exam held on May 3, 2026).'

After logging in with their credentials, candidates can access their dashboard, check the bank account details they have provided, make necessary corrections, and submit the updated information.

The NTA advises candidates to download and save the confirmation page after successful submission for future reference.

Once candidates have completed all required steps and submitted their bank account details, this information will be considered final.

The NTA has made it clear that no requests for changes to bank details will be accepted after the deadline.

Candidates are therefore encouraged to double-check their bank account number, IFSC code, account holder's name, and all other pertinent information before final submission.
