Maharashtra HSC Result 2023 : 91.25% students clear Class 12 exams; CM Shinde congratulates students

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has released the results for the Maharashtra HSC Class 12 examinations today.
 

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has released the results for the Maharashtra HSC Class 12 examinations today. Students who took their Class 12 board exams in Maharashtra can now view their scorecards on the official websites - mahahsscboard.in, mahresult.nic.in, hscresult.mkcl.org, and hsc.mahresults.org.in. The board exams were conducted between February 21 and March 21, with over 14 lakh students participating. Out of the 14.16 lakh candidates, 60,780 students were from the science stream, 4,04,761 from the Arts stream, and 3,45,532 from the commerce stream. Among the 9 divisions of the Maharashtra State Board, the Konkan division recorded the highest pass percentage at 96.01%. Here are the division-wise results:

Konkan – 96.01%
Pune – 93.34%
Kolhapur – 93.28%
Amravati – 92.75%
Nagpur – 90.35%
Latur – 90.37%
Mumbai – 88.13%
Nashik – 91.66%
Aurangabad – 91.85%

A total of 12,92,468 students passed the exam, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 91.25%. The stream-wise pass percentages for Maharashtra HSC Result 2023 are as follows:

Science: 96.09% (highest)
Arts: 84.05%
Commerce: 90.42%
Vocational courses: 89.25%
Overall: 91.25%

To check the MSBSHSE HSC results, follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website of the Maharashtra Board at mahresult.nic.in or any of the mentioned websites.
  • Click on the link for HSC Exam Result on the webpage.
  • A new window will open; enter your roll number.
  • The result will appear on the screen. Check and download it.
  • Take a printout of the result for future admission reference.

In the previous year, approximately 14.85 lakh students registered for the MSBSHSE exam, and the overall pass percentage was 94.22%. The girls outperformed the boys, with a pass percentage of 95.35% compared to the boys' 93.29%. This year, girls have a pass percentage of 93.73% while boys have 89.14%. Mumbai has the highest number of candidates appearing for the board exams, with 2,90,25 students.
