Madhya Pradesh Board Exams Begin
Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has officially launched its board examinations. This year, over 1.6 million students are set to participate in the Class 10 and Class 12 exams.
To ensure the integrity of the exams, extensive measures have been implemented to curb cheating. All examination centers will be under surveillance with the installation of CCTV cameras. Additionally, flying squads will be present at these centers, and noise restrictions will be enforced, transforming them into silence zones.
Exam Centers and Security Measures
Total Number of Exam Centers:
A total of 3,856 examination centers have been established throughout the state, with jammers installed at 488 of the most sensitive locations. Specifically, there are 138 centers in Indore and 76 in Morena. The exams are being conducted across 55 districts.
Prohibition of Electronic Devices:
The Class 12 examinations commence today, starting with the English paper. Class 10 exams will follow on February 13, beginning with the Urdu paper. To maintain exam integrity, the use of all electronic devices, including mobile phones and smartwatches, is strictly prohibited.
Exam Schedule
According to the updated timetable from the Madhya Pradesh Board, the main exams for Class 10 and Class 12 are scheduled for February-March 2026. Class 10 exams will take place from February 13 to March 6, while Class 12 exams are set for February 10 to March 7, with timings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Practical exams will occur between February 10 and March 10.
