IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026: Exciting news for those preparing for government jobs in the banking sector! The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has commenced the online application process for the Customer Service Associate (CSA) recruitment under Clerical Cadre-XVI. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official website until August 21, 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 11,403 vacancies across various states in the country, with Uttar Pradesh having the highest number of positions at 1,731. Other states include Karnataka with 1,414, Maharashtra with 1,051, West Bengal with 946, Gujarat with 698, and Tamil Nadu with 675 vacancies.

IBPS has released a detailed breakdown of vacancies by state. Uttar Pradesh leads with 1,731 positions, followed by Karnataka with 1,414, Maharashtra with 1,051, West Bengal with 946, Gujarat with 698, Tamil Nadu with 675, Madhya Pradesh with 570, Bihar with 491, Punjab with 481, and Delhi with 415. Specific positions have also been allocated for other states and union territories.


Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this recruitment, candidates must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. It is mandatory for applicants to have their graduation degree or mark sheet. The age limit for applicants is set between 20 and 28 years, and only those within this age range are eligible to apply.


Application Fee and Salary

The application fee for general category candidates is ₹850. Meanwhile, candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen categories are required to pay ₹175. Selected candidates will receive a minimum basic salary of ₹24,050, along with additional allowances and benefits as per the participating banks' regulations.
