Goa Board Releases HSSC 12th Results 2024: Pass Percentage Stands at 85%

The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has declared the results for the class 12 or HSSC exams 2024. Students who appeared for the examinations can now access their scores online through the official websites.

Announcement of Results: The Goa HSSC 2024 examinations were conducted between February 28 to March 18. Results for Arts, Commerce, Science, and Vocational courses were declared at a press conference held by the Board on April 21.

Key Highlights:

• Total number of students who appeared: 17,511
• Overall pass percentage: 85%
• Pass percentage among boys: 81.59%
• Pass percentage among girls: 88.06%
• Number of students in improvement exam category: 2,725

How to Check Goa HSSC Class 12 Results 2024 Online:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education at gbshse.in.
Step 2: Click on the “Goa HSSC Result 2024” link.
Step 3: Enter your seat number and the captcha code.
Step 4: Click on the “submit” button to view your result.
Step 5: Download and take a printout of the result for future reference.

Checking Results via SMS:

Step 1: Open your phone’s messaging app.
Step 2: Type GOA12SEAT NUMBER and send it to any of the following numbers: 56263, 58888, or 5676750.
Step 3: If those numbers aren’t responding, send a message with GB12SEAT NUMBER to 54242.
Step 4: Wait for a response from the board.

Decline in Pass Percentage:

• In 2023: 95.46%
• In 2022: 92.66%

• In 2020: 89.27%
• In 2019: 89.59%

Girls continued to outperform boys, with 95.03% boys and 95.88% girls clearing the exam last year.
